Darrin Marion – Writer
Darrin, the oldest child of parents too cheap to spring for cable, was probably one of the 12 paid members of the Columbia Music Club. After some jackass played “Another One Bites the Dust” backwards at church , the music club membership was cancelled and substituted for the collection of 45’s ,78’s, 33’s and 8 tracks that acted as the soundtrack for every family get together, barbecue or birthday party.
Darrin believes that music is life vocalized. He views the message from the independent artist as the most accurate barometer of the state of society. In a society where expression itself is literally packaged , the report of the indie artist is one of the few remaining ties to sensibility.
