The Daily Krapht – Common Jack “Restless”
There’s a lot of music that flows through our submission inbox and at Wordkrapht, we have definitely come across some talented artists. Every now and then, we encounter a musician who stops us in our tracks. The first thought through a lot of our minds is, “how the hell are they not getting play on the radio?” Well, that’s exactly what happened when we opened the submission for Brooklyn based folk-rock, Common Jack. Common Jack was formed by John Gardner who is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist and was apart of a two and a half year world tour of the Broadway show, Once. While on tour, Common Jack played his own music in his free time. We are here to introduce our readers to his latest single, “Restless.”
With a powerful beat and a strong supporting cast of multiple instruments like the beautiful strings section and catchy plucks from the guitar, “Restless” is a song with lots of potential to be one of those memorable songs that will last a lifetime. Common Jack’s songwriting is a mix of poetry and visionary with the listener blissfully hanging on every word on this single. Hearing his vocals, you can tell this guy is a pro and has many years of experience in the world of music and performing.
Every music lover needs to take a listen to Common Jack’s “Restless.” He’s an intriguing and magical artist who will have you looking up his discography because it will have you restless (pardon the pun) for more of Common Jack’s music.
