The Daily Krapht- Covey- Call Home”

Boston-based folk project Covey is only three years into their existence and are already setting themselves up for success. Without the help of a major label, they’ve managed to open for National touring acts like Hoizer, and The Last Bison as well as gathering 110,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. What are they doing right you may wonder? Take one listen to the music and all of your questions will be answered.

Lead by multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Tom Freeman, Covey just released their debut album, Haggarty last Friday. “Call Home”, the newest single to be released off the album is what we are sharing with you today. The track floats somewhere between folk and indie and in between 20770318_1728733423817165_3390055369007744620_nthe lines of distinction is where the magic lays. “Call Home” is a melancholy ride on a raft down a river. Press play, sink into it and enjoy.

Haggarty is available now through all digital outlets. For physical copies, check out Covey’s bandcamp page for vinyl and cassette bundles which contain some pretty sweet stuff.
