Tanya Nambiar is no stranger to Wordkrapht. We have featured her numerous of times on our site and today we are here to bring you Nambiar’s latest EP. On the New Delhi-based singer’s EP, Good Girls Gone, she continues to bring a sassy combination of jazz, pop, and blues to the table along with her bad ass attitude.

On the title track, “Good Girls Gone,” the electric guitar takes on a major role as Nambiar soulfully wonders “where the good girls gone?” as her vocals harmonize along with the sounds from the guitar. Listening to the shreds of that guitar will have the listener wanting to see this track performed live on stage to see Nambiar’s chemistry with her music. “Good Girls Gone” could take place at a bar on a Saturday night as Nambiar checks out the crowd looking for that cute guy to flirt with.

That same scene continues with the next track, “Love at First Sight,” as Nambiar sings about experiencing love at first sight or perhaps it’s just the drinks she’s had? Plenty of people have probably been in that situation before and she continues that jazzy sound with that electric guitar following her on “Love at First Sight” just like that guy who’s caught her attention.

Nambiar slows it down on the last song of the EP with “Love Letter.” With a little more piano on this track and the brushes on the drums, she sings a classic love song to the one who’s stolen her heart and she wants to know where this relationship is going. Wherever this love is going, she is all about taking it slow and letting them know she’ll wait around till they’re ready. Nambiar brings a vulnerability to “Love Letter” which was absent from the first two tracks on Good Girls Gone.

On Tanya Nambiar’s latest EP, Good Girls Gone, she tackles the different stages of finding love through these  tracks. Single people all over the world will be able to relate to each song and will be swaying their bodies along to the beat on these jazzy tunes. Nambiar becomes one with the music as she sings along with each instrument that appears on this EP.
