The Daily Krapht- Palehound- “Molly”

Ellen Jesse Davood is the woman behind the band, Palehound. Dry Food, the latest release by the Boston artist was just released in the UK March 6th and to celebrate Davood gifted the world with the surreal video for the single “Molly”.

Directed by Lara Jean Gallagher and Brian Kinkley, “Molly” shows us just how much fun making music videos can still be. About the video, and the introduction of “Egg Guy” the directing duo tells us,a3329647251_10

“EggGuy was concocted during a late morning brunch mishap,” explains the directing duo. “We wanted to explore the frailty of life, what it means to have consciousness, and how much we could care about a pair of eyeballs. “Molly” has just the right amount of weird sweetness to make this all seem really fun.”

Watch the video below, and we highly encourage you to check out the rest of Palehound’s repertoire. It’s exciting to see such raw talent in someone so early in their career. Ellen Jesse Davood is definitely a name you won’t want to forget.

Dry Food is available now in the UK on Heavily Records. For those in North America, Dry Food is available as well, through Exploding in Sound Records.  Links to connect and purchase can be found after the video.
