Hey Anna released a new video for their track “Mt. Picchu” last month, and we just could not wait to get to talk about it. Featured on Wordkrapht for the seventh time, it is no secret that we are big fans, and every time they do something new, we love them even more.

“Mt. Picchu” is the closing track on their debut album Run Koko. It almost comes across like a lullaby with it’s soft tones. As the closing credits on the album, it is a nice reminder of how well the quintet can put together a song.

The lyrics may talk fo them climbing Mt. Picchu, but the imagery comes from their trip to Japan. There’s an interesting contrast between the feel of the song, and the stark industrial visual, but we can watch the girls sing all day.

You can see Hey Anna November 12th & 13th at the Napa Valley Film Festival.
