The Daily Krapht – Pony Boy – “Magnolia”

Pony Boy is quickly climbing the ranks of Wordkrapht’s most frequently featured artists. Yesterday she released the third video off of her debut album, Blue Gold and it will have you seeing double.

“Magnolia” is a song about relationships, but the execution of the video is anything but your ordinary “hum glum my heart is broken” type of video. With the help of director Nick Ogden of High Six Media and a few sets of twins, Pony Boy’s Lynch-esque video just fell into place. After checking out the video, be sure to check out the lyrics to the song Bradanini so kindly supplied as well.

“Magnolia” has that country twang but with a kick in the pants. She smooths the lines between styles so seamlessly the only thing you’re really focusing on is the music and not trying to label it.

Blue Gold is out now on Cosmic Thug Records
