The Daily Krapht – Tarra Layne – “Cherry Moonshine”
As we head into the holiday weekend, let’s discuss questionable decision making. “Cherry Moonshine” will certainly be the catalyst for those ” Did I…?” questions on Monday. Tarra Layne has provided the soundtrack and a video that makes us ask “why weren’t we invited to the bonfire???”
Layne, originally from Pittsburgh, now calls LA home. She looks a little like Natalie Dormer (Game of Thrones – maybe it’s that mischievous smile that obviously says she’s up to no good) and carries a strong Grace Potter/Miranda Lambert vibe. Of “Cherry Moonshine,” she said “I wrote this song for the wanderers who fall too easily and deeper than a dream. For those who mean for flames to last, but are in love with the spark. For those who chase the burn of booze with a brave heart.”
It’s a fun song, sure to get people moving this weekend. You might want to go with more music and less liquid though.
