For those who aren’t aware of Mega Ran’s journey from teacher to video game remixing to the successful artist he is today, take a moment to check out his story here (http://megaran.com/bio/).  His story is yet another testimony to what you can accomplish when you have passion for what you love. Fast-forward to today, and our very special Daily Krapht.

Directed by Luis Perez and Ben Levy, “Artillery” is the latest video from Mega Ran and Storyville.

The high-tech video is fun and funky (see if you can find the DeLorean), the perfect accompaniment to the track. Returning back to their rap battle roots, the track is overflowing with clever punchlines and one liners (“I don’t need the accolades, cause I know they see Carmen Sandiego play the game to locate me”) layered over a soulful, groovy beat complete with horns and piano.

“Artillery” can be found on Soul Veggies which was released in February of this year. You can still catch Mega Ran and Storyville on tour including tonight at the Hard Rock Café in Washington. Links to connect, buy, and share all at the bottom of the page. Don’t miss out!
